About Me

I am a dedicated and experienced educator with over 25 years of teaching and technology expertise, specializing in Elementary and Middle School education. My passion lies in inspiring young learners to achieve academic and personal success through engaging, innovative, and meaningful learning experiences. I have taught students from first through seventh grade across core subjects like language arts, math, science, and history, as well as specialized topics like coding, digital literacy, multimedia, and robotics. My approach focuses on fostering curiosity and creativity, integrating technology into hands-on STEAM projects, and using project-based learning to encourage collaboration, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
I take great care in teaching digital citizenship and responsible online behavior, ensuring students develop safe and respectful habits in today’s digital world. Alongside my teaching, I bring a strong background in IT support, troubleshooting, and managing educational technology tools, helping students and schools seamlessly adopt new technologies. My experience includes leadership roles, such as serving as a Robotics Coach for FIRST Lego League competitions, where I mentored students in teamwork, innovation, and engineering skills.
With a Master’s in Educational Technology, and a certified Educational Technology Specialist, I am committed to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of emerging technologies. My expertise spans a wide range of software, tools, and coding platforms, allowing me to adapt to diverse learning needs and environments. As both an educator and a technology specialist, I strive to empower children to explore, innovate, and thrive in an ever-evolving world, providing them with 21st century skills.
